Empanada Papa at Governors Ball

We're chatting with Jose and Pedro from Empanada Papa to check out their homemade empanadas, scratch made sauces, and a special pitch for Sean Evans of Hot Ones.

Jose and Pedro have a ton of passion for their empanadas, partially inspired by Pedro’s wife, of course. They’ve been vending at local markets and catering events, and I was excited to catch them at their first festival. They make everything from scratch, and you can tell- everything tastes fresh and the empanada I tried, their vegetarian cheese empanada, was super delicious! The shell was light and crisp, and the cheese inside was the perfect level of gooey with the right amount of chew. I had that paired with their pineapple habanero, which was really tasty and definitely had the spice factor, perfect for the line up on Hot Ones (our official pitch to get them on in the video!).
