Katherine “Kae” Sprung is the founder and owner of Squish Marshmallows, host of podcast and digital series Sprung On Food, commercial voice over artist, award winning pastry chef, and content creator.

Sprung moved to New York City for an internship with ABC News. Soon after, she began working as a nightlife DJ, creating beats, and learning her way around audio editing and producing. In addition to music, food was always a passion and made its way into her professional life when she created her handcrafted marshmallow company, Squish Marshmallows.

Throughout the years, Sprung, and Squish Marshmallows, have been featured on Food Network, Hallmark Channel, Forbes, Insider, Money, Thrillist, Refinery29, Cosmopolitan, The Chew, Eater, Seventeen, among others, and winner of Food Network's Chopped Sweets, named as a finalist for "Best Dessert" at the Vendy Awards, selected for Marie Claire’s 2019 Power Trip, and as a Tory Burch Fellowship 2020 Fellow.

Sprung currently lives in New York City and loves a good bakery crawl and thrifting, volunteers at the city animal shelter and dog fosters, and listens to and watches too many true crime podcasts and documentaries, Real Housewives, and irreverent comedy.
