Season 1 Episode 6: DŌ Cookie Dough Confections

In this episode, we're visiting Kristen Tomlan at DŌ Cookie Dough Confections, in Greenwich Village in New York City, to make their Cake Batter Cookie Dough.

Inside the bright and colorful shop, you’ll find yourself in the cookie dough version of an ice cream scoop shop. We got to make the Cake Batter flavor, and there was nothing like a freshly made batch of this cake-flavored dough! We also got to bake some off, and they’re just as delicious, but, you know, a warm gooey cookie with crispy edged. If you catch it in the episode, Kristen craftily takes a cookie dough sandwich! I didn’t get to try it, but, I can imagine it would be like a cookie explosion haha.

Kristen definitely knows what she’s doing here- her disposition is just as sweet as the confections inside, and her book proves that the possibilities for cookie dough are endless! Although, if you ask her and lots of her customers, even with all the recipes in her book, sometimes, the best way to eat it is simply raw!
