Roberta's at Governors Ball
In this episode, we're visiting Pia Hambour at Roberta's, at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, to make their Vegan Rosso Pizza.

Chef Pia has a super laid back attitude, which made filming so much fun (making pizza didn’t hurt either)! They’re using all scratch made ingredients, which lends to a really well crafted pizza. Here, we were making personal pies which were pretty adorable (also, I probably could have eaten 2 personal pies haha). I’ve made pizza for myself at home before, using a cast iron skillet (you can actually find the recipe and steps for that here), but I’ve never had the chance to use a real pizza oven. Making the pizza itself was very therapeutic, and learning how to hand toss was great too, and, slightly nerve wrecking since I didn’t want to tear the dough! Getting the pizza onto the, what I’m going to call, pizza spatula was not as easy as they make it look, but I’m glad that I was able to do it without tearing my pizza (although it did stretch it out slightly, changing the shape from a nice circle to more oblong- the good news is, it doesn’t affect the taste!). I also got to try their Margherita pizza, both super delicious, and would definitely recommend trying them!
