Marty's V Burger at Governors Ball
In this episode, we're visiting Marty Krutolow at Marty's V Burger, at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, to try their vegan Original World Famous Burger, Shroom Steakhouse Burger, and Cheese Fries.
"Marty’s V Burger got its start at the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival of 2014, and since then we’ve been working to bring you delicious, cruelty-free, truly fast food. Our signature burgers, mac and cheese, drumstix, crabby patties and more have been pleasing palates at events all around the New York City area.." -Marty’s V Burger
First off, I was really excited that Marty’s was there, as a totally vegan food vendor! I hadn’t had the chance to try their food before this, but now that I have, I’m really looking forward to trying their whole menu. Everything is vegan, kosher, and many things are also gluten free, which really impressed me since it makes their menu so accommodating. The food was so delicious, and if you’re a meat-eater you will absolutely not miss any of that here. The house-made burgers have excellent flavor and texture, and the “cheese” fries are so crave-able and delicious! Not only was Marty himself, and his whole team, just the nicest person you’d meet, he believes in giving back. Marty’s is a partner in Support + Feed, which “provides nourishing, plant-based meals for children & families, seniors, homeless & domestic abuse shelters, food banks, and LGBTQ+ centers in marginalized communities”, where they match 1 item for every 2 donated. Doesn’t get any better than that!
