The Amazons at Governors Ball

We're interviewing The Amazons to learn about their favorite foods while touring, the differences between English and American grocery store foods, and which ones might kill you. 

First and foremost, I was told that this was their favorite interview…ever. So, I’ll play that on repeat anytime I need to cheer myself up. Now that we have that out of the way, these guys were a lot of fun to interview. The reason I love interviewing bands and artists with food as the topic, is because you truly learn so much from someone from their answers. The band, as a whole, had really thoughtful views on all our topics- not to mention Matt is very knowledgable on all things history, and Reading, England history, in this case.

It’s great too when a music tour can also become a food tour, which is what the band makes sure to partake in by trying out the local offerings (watch the episode to hear what the top food city/item is, according to Elliot). And, it’s through these food questions that we can now also look out for Chris’s future bagel truck company (also watch the episode to hear the company name being workshopped, hilariously).

Shout-out to Nachos Libre for providing lunch, they absolutely loved the nachos, especially the dessert nachos!
