Get Baked at Governors Ball

We're talking to Maggie Ramirez-McGraw of Get Baked to learn about the inspiration for their popular festival food, poaching your boss from when you were 14 years old, and what the best late-night munchies flavor is.

When you see the Get Baked trolley (yes, it’s a trolley, which is much cuter than a truck, in my opinion), its bright color and inviting staff pulls you right in. If you’ve never had a stuffed pretzel before (which, really isn’t a hard sell on its own because it just sounds delicious), the team working at the trolley are sure to win you over- they’re engaging and little rays of sunshine, just like the logo on the trolley itself. Then, of course, we have the product. Each pretzel is handmade, fresh on-site. They even have a SHEETER! Watch the video to see this, if you don’t know what that is (basically I’ve NEVER seen that at a festival- it is beyond impressive).

Maggie has had some challenges in health, which inspired perseverance to continue with this passion of food and community, and also look into new avenues to expand business. I loved the Spinach and Artichoke, and even if you’re not a “dessert person” (shameful), you need to get your hands on the Nutella. Salty and sweet, it’s the perfect combo.
